the fact there is nowhere to say how much that debuff does exactly is really frustrating.Skeleton Mages are the animated remains of slain Sorcerers. the second problem is one of the cd reduction pieces is my shoulder, if I switched it to the mage I will lose 10% which in turn will hurt my debuff uptime. There is a few points of change I'm considering, one is that instead of using armour debuff I can run the armour with bone spike, and with that cd reduction I can make that uptime 100%, the negative is it offers no protection at all and I have to stay in the limited range. and since I have awakened my 3 pieces that are bone armour related, they give a total of -30% CD reduction and that brings my bone armour to about 15s CD so I can keep that debuff up quite well. with that damage buff, I can easily top chart in a shadow war. it served me well thus far, the only grip is my character is kinda squishy and not very resistant. Archer/Stone/Reaper with 30%armor/armour debuff/armour shoulder(don't have the double mage shoulder). Not sure how it compares to Soul Fire yet. I have the weapon with "dot affect" for pretty solid damage. One change I've been considering is switching to Bone Spear. It seems more balanced running Skeleton Archers, esp with Molten Golem for melee AE. And it aligns with Command Skeletons.Ĭaptain Skeleton does amazing AOE - but it's just one minion when not on cooldown. Plus the 8s cool-down is much nicer to be able to have two up. I don't have the Reaper Mage legendary yet - but the regular skeleton mage seem to do a lot of damage still. While the initial throw is solid damage, it seems slow and there is no constant AE damage like Molten. I tried the Stone "boulder throwing" Golem and it felt like a DPS loss. To offset the "focused-target" of archers, I went with Molten Golem for melee-AOE. Range feels better for survivability as well. I love how when commanded, they focus and melt the targeted area. I agree that the Skeleton Archers have high single-target DPS. Most guides just say which skill/build is the best - without any data backing it up. Nice post! I've been interested in the raw numbers myself. I will probably switch to grim reaper mage as well when i get the legendary for it, i'm using beacon of the led for the time being.Īnother note If you are wondering whether "command skeleton damage increase 10%" and "command golem damage increase 10%" only affect their active skills no, they increase all the damage a summon does, not just golem jump for example. It also helps you if have 2-3 mobs on you to push them into your summons specially in challenge rifts. I would say that's better than a "guided by maggots" modified dark curse buff, so i use bone wall duration as my legs legendary. It summons 5 (it bugs and summons less most of the time, blizz please) skeletons and they count for the afore mentioned bonuses. Since our 4 set and follower's burden (yeah, i dont have any 5 stars) legendary gem scales off of having 6 summons, i'm using "ever-grasping vestments" chest legendary. I'm mostly using big skeleton, molten skeleton, and double mage (shoulder legendary synod's anointing). ![]() I'm still trying to find a "good" summoner build. So for single target, stone golem looks the best. Flesh golem gained around 450~ auto attack damage per corpse. Everyone knows this but molten golem is best for aoe, that constant aoe is so good. Golem special skill is a dps loss on single target, even with molten golem because your golem will probably lose 2 auto attacks while jumping. Molten Golem (Desolatoria) - Auto (Cleave) 4897 / Jump 5607 / Constant Aoe 751 Stone Golem (Priest's Grubknife) - Auto (Boulder) 7968 / Roll 1800~įlesh Golem (Accounting for Weakness) - Auto (Cleave) No Corpse:5876 1 Corpse:6325 2 Corpses:6773 / Charge 1383 Normal Golem - Auto (Cleave) 4412 / Jump 1800~ Yeah, sorry, i'm still trying to drop "Welcome End" legendary. Skeleton Mage - Auto Attack (Piercing) 1340 What this tells me is use archers on single target, and big skeleton on aoe. Skeleton Champion (Vanilla Skill) - Auto Attack 863 (x4) Skeleton Archer (Mirrorictus) - Single Shot 1784 (x4) The numbers below are what each attack did, not damage per second (DPS).īig Skeleton (Crown of the Gilded Leash) - Auto Attack (Cleave) 2038 / Spin2Win 1063 (2-3 instances of damage happen in 1 second) but you already know how fast your summons attacks are if you play a summoner anyways. Also there are slower/faster attack speed etc. The damage they do will change depending on your gear. Remember, compare each attack value relatively. ![]() I noted how much each summons attack did. ![]() I unequipped all my legendary gems, set pieces, any legendary that gives a certain type of summon an advantage and hit the same type of mobs. I wanted to see how much each summon does on their own and how they compare to each other.
